Concert Band
Once marching season ends, concert season begins.
Students are divided into three concert bands by audition. Each of the
concert bands have consistently been awarded superior ratings in the
state concert band contests. In addition, the top concert band
has earned the prestigious State Finalist Award (top 16 bands in the
state) for 11 of the past 13 years. In 2001, Castle was one of only
three schools who achieved placement in the top five in both concert and
marching bands during the same year. In addition to the contest music,
the three concert bands hold concerts in the winter and spring months
and play a variety of music for these events.
