Mark Eifler
Director of Bands CHS
Mark Eifler is a 1975 Graduate of Castle High School. He earned his music degree from Indiana State University. A student of H. Joseph Owens and Larry Weed, Mark is quite active as a performer and has been featured with the Evansville Symphonic Band as a soloist for the last seven years. He also serves as orchestra director at Crossroads Christian Church. Mark was previously a teacher of instrumental music at Plaza Park Middle School in the Evansville Vanderburgh School System.

Faril Bunner
Assistant Director of Bands CHS
Faril Bunner is a 2001 graduate of F. J. Reitz high school of Evansville, IN and is the newly appointed asst. director of the Castle Bands program. Mr. Bunner graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he earned a Bachelor degree in music education. While at UNLV, he was a member of the UNLV Wind Orchestra and served as principal horn of the Symphony Orchestra. He also had the opportunity to travel extensively with the Wind Orchestra on tours through Japan, France, and Hong Kong. In addition to his new appointment, Mr. Bunner is currently on the brass staff at the GLASSMEN Drum & Bugle Corps.

Andy Jackson
Director of Color Guard
Andy Jackson is a 1997 Graduate of Normal Community High School in Illinois. He attended The School of the Art Institute Chicago and graduated from Columbia College Chicago, where he studied Sculpture and Imaging. Mr. Jackson was a member of the DCI World Champion Cavaliers and WGI Finalist Independence. He has written staging and choreography for many schools’ performing arts programs. Andy founded the Castle Winter Guard here at Castle High School and uses his creativity to design cutting edge shows.
