Band Sponsorship Opportunities

Studies are confirming every day the importance of the Arts. One current study found that students who participate in the Arts for four or more years scored, on average, 42 points higher on the Math portion of the S.A.T. and 62 points higher on the Verbal portion. That is a total of 104 total points higher than those without Arts training. 

The Castle Band program serves over 200 students, performing before thousands of spectators annually. The marching band program has been very successful in State finals, finishing in the top ten every year since 1989 with only two exceptions and in the top five every year since 1999 with only one exception.  The concert band program has been equally successful in concert band competitions, finishing in the top sixteen every year since 1995 with two exceptions.  In 2001, Castle was one of only three schools to finish in the top five in both Marching and Concert band in the same year.  The Marching Knights have also traveled and performed at the Orange Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, and Disney Magic Music Days.

Funding from the Warrick County School Corporation covers only a small part of the total cost of these activities. The remaining 85-95% of the resources necessary to support these award-winning programs must come from the parents, the Band Booster Organization, and the support of Sponsors.  By becoming a Sponsor, you can help to insure that this valuable opportunity remains available for our students.
